"I believe I've waited long enough, where do I begin...?"
Someone wise once said: "Hell, it's about time!" I couldn't agree more. My first DD. And by DD, I mean Daily Deviation.
The day started early this morning. Casualy. Woke up, read the daily news on the Internet... No new devs from the people I watch, Nikon releases some new fieldscopes, damn, Steve's dead. Back to dA. A quick peek on today's DD's: "Cool!", "Are they doing the thing I think they're doing?" "I think I saw it somewhere before..." "Impressive." Wait, what? And then the flood started. 9 messages. Refresh. 11. Seriously?
I'd like to thank ^Kaz-D for featuring it as a DD and for something that started the whole thing, something what happened a while ago, for adding Purgatory to #Abstract-and-Surreal's group gallery. Then was ~daisicalolliwog who came along with a feature in Abstact and Surreal's group blog. Haje Jan Kamps, aka ~sharq, for his book which was a huge help. And last but not least, I'd like to thank Meg and her wet hair for being an indirect inspiration, which led to creating "Satellite". Thanks!
Back home. I think I'll need a beer. Headphones plugged into my stereo. Foo's inside, spinning. Logging in. Over 100. Great. I think I'll need a second one...
Also, I'd like to thank everyone who faved, commented, gave me a llama and totally ignored it. It's 200 messages and counting, so I can't reply to everyone in a day. I'll be doing it daily, but if you're reading this by chance, thanks!
In addition to the deviants I mentioned above, please visit these artists' galleries:
`jmonzani, *iKate, =Oer-Wout, ~abclic, =Largeboy30, *MEgolddust *Sortvind, ~eugenebuzuk and many other great artists whose shots can be found in my favs. Stop for a bit in these galleries, there's always something to see and learn there.
PS F*** yeah!
